Postgraduate (M.Voc.) students from the Fashion Designing department were led to the exhibition, which was hosted in the Science Center, as part of their curriculum for the topic of Craft Research and Design to make them understand culture, art and craft and to provide them with hands-on instruction in indigenous art and craft from India. Craftroots is an initiative of Gramshree to link the output of traditional artisans with the global markets. It is basically dedicated to the ongoing growth of traditional crafts, the artisans behind those crafts, and the society around us.
