Cultural Fiesta

The Cultural Committee of VVWU organized a Cultural Fiesta 2023 on 5th September, 2023 wherein 150 students across the university participated. 

The event was planned with the support and motivation of Honorable Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar.

After screening there were 23 entries across the university for the competitions. There were 9 entries for singing (solo & group song) and 14 groups for dancing. The performances were based on the various dances of our Indian culture and folksongs.

Winners of Singing:
1. Prachi Parekh, TY B.Sc. MICROBIOLOGY,  SST
2. Anjali Agarwal – SYM.Sc Microbiology,  SST.

Winners of Dance:
1. Dhvani Sakhida & group – SY M.Sc Microbiology, SST.
2. Riddhi Patel & group – TYBBA & B. COM, SCBM.
3.  Priyanshi Chauhan & group – FY & SY Fashion Designing, SVS & Patel Vishwa & Group SY & TY Biotechnology, SST.

There was a Special Drama Performance that won the hearts of all – Aayushi Mehta & group.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Pratima Shah & members of Cultural Committee.
