The Department of Commerce of Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management, Vanita Vishram Women’s University, Surat, organized an Orientation Programme for the students of Second and Third Year B.Com., as well as M.Com. Part II. The primary objective of the programme was to familiarize students with the academic curriculum for the upcoming year and to inspire them towards academic excellence and personal growth.
Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal, Dean – Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of self-development and economic independence, encouraging them to become the architects of their own future.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from 130 students of S.Y. B.Com., 120 students of T.Y. B.Com., and 30 students of M.Com. Part II.
The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Nanda Bothra, Head of the Department of Commerce and faculties of the department, under the valuable guidance of Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal. The continued support and encouragement from Hon’ble Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar and Registrar Dr. R. D. Patel were instrumental in the smooth execution of the programme.
