The School of Vocational Studies, Vanita Vishram Women’s University, organized, नींव- 2025, Orientation Programme for Parents and F.Y.B.Voc. and M.Voc.-I Students and Freshers’ Day for the students on Wednesday, 9th July, 2025.
Hon’ble Provost, Dr. Daxesh Thakar enriched the gathering with his insightful words and encouraging presence.
Ms. Shagun Rao, Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion Designing, delivered the welcome address and set a positive tone for the programme.
Dr. Vinita Mod introduced Vanita Vishram and Vanita Vishram Women’s University, outlining its objectives and academic programs, while Ms. Megha Gohil, Head, Department of Fashion Designing introduced the department and then Dr. Sumi Haldar presented the scope of the course and university’s code of conduct and also, she concluded with a vote of thanks.
The Students’ Freshers’ Day focused on welcoming F.Y.B.Voc. and M.Voc.-I students through interactive games and activities. Senior students showcased their talents through various cultural performances, welcoming the new cohort into the SVS and VVWU family.
The event turned out to be a great success with a total of 100+ students and their parents in attendance.
The event was successfully organized under the guidance and encouragement of Dr. Daxesh Thakar, the honorable Provost and coordinated with the support of Dr. Vinita Mod, Dean, Faculty of School of Vocational Studies
The event was well coordinated by Ms. Shubhi Sharma, Ms. Priya Ranoliya, Ms. Ankita Purohit, Ms. Vaibhavi Zala and Ms. Krati Bansal.
