Successful Organization of InnovieShe Born to Build…Hackathon 2k25 – Gujarat’s First Women’s Hackathon under NEP 2020

The Department of Computer Science, School of Science & Technology, Vanita Vishram Women’s University (VVWU) proudly organized InnovieShe Born to Build…Hackathon 2k25 — Gujarat’s first Women’s Hackathon under NEP 2020 — on 30th and 31st July 2025.

This remarkable two-day event provided a dynamic platform for developers, designers, and innovators to collaboratively solve real-world problems, build prototypes, and create tech-based solutions under time-bound challenges. With 70+ registered teams and 66 active participants, the event reflected a vibrant culture of innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants tackled **25 problem statements across 17 diverse domains, promoting synergy across academic and technical disciplines.

### 🌟 Highlights of the Event:
– Day 1 began with team registration, a prayer ceremony, and the campus song to foster a focused and energetic atmosphere. Participants received detailed briefings and enthusiastically solved Level 1 challenges, including surprise tasks that elevated excitement.
– Day 2 advanced teams into Level 2 challenges requiring enhanced creativity and technical depth. Jury members assessed each solution with well-defined criteria, ensuring fairness and excellence.

1. Target Tracker
– Domain: Public Safety and Emergency Response
– Problem Statement: Lack of Public Awareness and Preparedness During Emergencies
– Solution: A practical approach to strengthen emergency readiness among citizens.

2. PHONEIX
– Domain: Mental Health Support
– Problem Statement: Students Hesitate to Express Mental Health Challenges
– Solution: Accessible and empathetic tools to support emotional well-being.

3. Brainiacs
– Domain: Healthcare Innovation
– Problem Statement: Lack of Digital Patient Records in Rural Clinics
– Solution: A smart digital system for medical record management in underserved areas.

### 🎖 Promising Performances:
Five additional teams—Code Blooded, **Ambitious, **Karma, **Diamond, and **Hack’n Role—were commended for their remarkable contributions, inventive thinking, and collaborative spirit.

The event marks a significant milestone in the coding journey of the Department of Computer Science at VVWU, championing the values of the National Education Policy 2020.
