The Department of Commerce, Jyoti Dalal School Of Commerce And Management organized ‘Professional Skills Marathon 2.0’ on 6th October, 2025.
The event was organised for S.Y. B.Com students with the objective of practically applying the skills learnt by them in the subject of ‘Professional Skills’. The students participated in the activities like Presentations and Mock Interviews and showcased the skills learnt in the subject.
The Resource Persons and the Judges, Dr. Ruchi Desai (Assistant Professor, Navyug Commerce College) and Dr. Madhulika Singh (Former Assistant Professor, VVWU) gave insights about the essentials of the presentations and the interviews. They also evaluated performance in the presentations conducted the Mock Interviews of the students. The event was graced by the august presence of Dr. Daxesh Thakar who explained the students about the importance of Professional Skills in all the walks of life.
The session was organized under the guidance of our Hon’ble Provost – Dr. Daxesh Thakar and Dr. R.D. Patel- Registrar, VVWU.
It was executed with the dedicated support of Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal- Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Management studies and Dr. Nanda Bothra- Head, Department of Commerce.
It was meticulously planned and coordinated by Ms. Mahafreen Patel- Assistant Professor in Finance.
