Vanita Vishram Women’s University, managed by Vanita Vishram, Surat, organized the Grand Inaugural ceremony of Cultural Conclave–2025 on 9th December 2025 at Shivgauri Hall, Vanita Vishram.
The objective of this two-day conclave is to connect students with experienced artists in creative fields such as theatre, painting, and photography.
The chief guest of the programme was Shri Aditya Vikram , former IRS officer. In his address, he appreciated the university’s efforts in promoting art and culture.
Distinguished guests present at the event included senior painter and visual art expert Shri Kanaiyalal Patel , theatre artist and practitioner Shri Kapildev Shukla , renowned photography expert Shri Sunilbhai Adesar a , and Shri Ajaybhai Shah . The University Provost, Dr. Daxesh Thakar, extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries.
Shri Ajaybhai Shah and Shri Sunilbhai Adesara guided the students on the nuances of photography. Senior painter Shri Kanaiyalal Patel demonstrated a new perspective in painting through a practical session. Shri Devangbhai Jagirdar and Shri Girishbhai Solanki provided insightful explanations of theatre arts in their unique styles.
Regarding this event, Shri Kripalini T. Desai , President of the Board of Management of Vanita Vishram Women’s University and Chairman of Vanita Vishram, Surat; Shri Pravin T. Vora, Vice President of the Board of Management and Vice Chairman of Vanita Vishram, Surat and Shri Manhar C. Desai , Secretary of Vanita Vishram, Surat conveyed their best wishes to the organizers and the students.
The successful organization of this programme was carried out under the guidance of Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar , by the joint efforts of Social and Cultural Committee Chairperson Dr. Aditya Farsole, Co-chairperson Dr. Ishita Desai, and their entire team.
