MoU with North Eastern Hill University, Shillong

The Training and Placement cell of Vanita Vishram women’s University organized the MOU Signing Ceremony with North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, Meghalaya on 27/12/2025 at Shivgauri Hall.

Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla, the Vice-Chancellor of North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Prof. Sudhanshu Jangir, Director of Indian Institute of Sustainability(IIS) and Dr. K.D. Panchal, Assistant Professor of GEC, Surat. Our honorable, Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar welcomed the guests and gave a motivational message to the students by praising the program. Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla gave the inspiring speech on start-up and leadership skill.

The main objective of this MoU is sharing scientific expertise and exchange of research ideas in the form of long-term collaborative research, environment education, skill development, vocational education, extension and training for overall improvement in the area of mutual interest.

The ceremony was organized under the guidance and support of our Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar, Registrar, Dr. R. D. Patel and assistant registrar Dr. Navnit Chothani. The event was successfully conducted by Ms. Foram Dharsandiya, Training and placement Officer, Ms. Anmol Jadav, Ms. Aashi Parikh, Ms. Shruti Prajapati, Ms. Hrudi Desai, Ms. Vaani Mittal and student head coordinators of T & P Cell.
