The Department of Commerce & Accountancy of JDSCM, Vanita Vishram Women’s University successfully organized an expert session on the topic “Understanding E-Commerce” on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
The session featured CA Nilesh Vasa, Senior Advisor at E&Y LLP and Professor of Practice at JDSCM, VVWU, as the distinguished resource person.
The speaker discussed about features of E-Commerce its benefits, various models under E-Commerce, Legal and Regulatory Frameworks and Recent Developments in the area.
The session turned out to be very interactive where students also took part in an online quiz. CA Nilesh Vasa also awarded goodies to the students for their active participation.
The session was attended by 180 students from B.Com. and M.Com. programmes.
