Department of Commerce, Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management, Vanita Vishram Women’s University organized a PTM (Parents Teacher Meeting) for the students of B. Com and M. Com on Monday, 12th January 2026.
The meeting began with the Dean’s Ma’am address which focused on discussing students’ academic performance, attendance, and overall progress. Parents were informed about their wards’ attendance, performance and failure in November 2025 examination, usage of VVWU app, creation of Parents WhatsApp Group, etc. The session ended on a positive note, encouraging collaboration between parents and teachers for the students’ betterment. Around 334 students came along with the parents for the meeting.
The program was organised under the guidance and support of our Provost sir Dr. Daxesh Thakar and Registrar sir, Dr. R. D. Patel. With guidance from Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal-Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies and Dr. Nanda Bothra, Head of Department it was executed smoothly.
It was well coordinated by Ms. Krina Vankawala, Asst. Professor in Accountancy and Ms. Ruchi Choksi, Asst. Professor in Commerce.
