The Department of Management Studies of Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management, VVWU, successfully organized an industrial visit to HDFC Bank Ltd. (Wholesale Banking Branch, Surat) from Tuesday to Friday, January 27 to 30, 2026.
The students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Nilesh Unalkat, City head, HDFC Bank and his team provided insight about project finance, trade finance, working capital finance, bank guarantee, account opening procedure, money mule transactions, centralised cash collection system which enhances the student’s learning experience and gave them practical insight.
The entire visit was knowledge enriching and it was attended by 118 Finance students from T.Y.B.B.A. in four batches.
The visit was planned under the guidance of Hon. Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar, Registrar Dr. R. D. Patel, Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal and Head of Department of Management Studies Dr. Bosky Suratwala.
It was coordinated by Dr. Foram Modi and Dr. Radhika Desai.
