The Department of Accountancy of Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management, Vanita Vishram Women’s University successfully organized a Workshop on “AI Tools in Accountancy” on Tuesday, 14th July 2026.
The sessions were delivered by CA Hardik Kakadiya, President, Chartered Accountants Association of Surat (CAAS).
The resource person conducted an insightful session on Artificial Intelligence (AI), explaining its potential risks and the importance of using it responsibly and effectively. The speaker also demonstrated useful tools, including Zoho Books for accounting applications. Interactive quizzes were conducted throughout the session to engage participants, and the winners were awarded tokens of appreciation.
It was attended by 126 students of B. Com. and M. Com.
The session was especially beneficial for students aspiring to pursue a career in accounting, helping them understand the evolving role of digital tools and AI in the industry.
The event was organized under the valuable guidance of Hon. Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar Sir, Registrar Dr. R. D. Patel Sir. along with the diligent supervision of Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal HoD-Accountancy and Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies.
It was successfully coordinated by Dr. Ghanshyam Bhomachiya, and Ms. Mahernaz Patel along with student coordinators ensuring successful conduct of the session.
