The Department of Food and Nutrition, Faculty of Science, School of Science and Technology, Vanita Vishram Women’s University (VVWU) organised an Expert Talk on “Twin Disruptor of Modern Health” as part of Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2026 on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Marfatia Hall, VVWU.
Dr. Rajiv Mehta, Renowned Gastroenterologist, SIDS Hospital delivered the expert talk and shared valuable insights on emerging health concerns, nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices.
The session aimed to enhance students’ awareness about contemporary health challenges and emphasise the importance of nutrition, preventive healthcare and informed lifestyle choices. The session was attended by the Dietitians of SIDS Hospital, students and Faculty members of the Department of Food and Nutrition.
The session was conducted under the guidance of Hon’ble Provost Dr.Daxesh Thakar and Dr. Manisha Vyas, Dean, Faculty of Science & HoD, Department of Food and Nutrition, and was coordinated by Dr. Shilpee Agarwal, Assistant Professor and Ms. Dhrumisha Kanani, Teaching Assistant (Adhoc).
