Competitions on account of National Youth Day

The Department of English in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences VVWU celebrated the 161st Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand on 12/1/2023. Around 100 girls participated in different events like Online quiz, Essay writing and Elocution.

The event was effectively coordinated by Dr. Pratima Shah,  Assistant Professor of English along with the Students Central Committee of VVWU. This event would not be possible without the support and encouragement of Honorable Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar and the Vanita Vishram Management. The event was attended by the Honorable Secretary M. C. Desai.

Dr. Gaurav Thakrar, Assistant Professor of English and Dr. Jitendra Pal, Assistant Professor of Botany graced  the occasion as judges for the Elocution competition. The students gave speeches on the different life events of Swami Vivekanand.
