Exemplary Achievement of Asst. Professor Dr. Yogesh Kadam and His Team

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that one of our faculties Dr. Yogesh Kadam, Asst. Professor – Chemistry, and his research students; Ashwini Salve, Mihar Shaikh, Kinjal Solanki from the Department of Chemistry, School of Science and Technology, VVWU along with the other collaborators have been granted a design patent for the “Portable Aquaponics System” by the Patent office, Government of India.

Their interdisciplinary collaboration—drawing on expertise from Biotechnology, Zoology, and Chemistry—has been crucial in developing a system that effectively combines biological and chemical processes for sustainable agriculture. Such innovative work not only advances the field of aquaponics but also demonstrates the power of diverse scientific expertise working together.
