On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, School of Vocational Studies, VVWU organized a two-day exhibition on September 26 and 27, 2023, highlighting the importance of tourism in India.
Students represented various tourism forms of India through models, paintings, which make it Incredible India. It includes arts, crafts, traditions, culture, food, important historical places, entertainment, world heritage sites in India etc. They also prepared a video depicting the various innovations that have taken place in India over a period for which we feel proud to be an Indian.
The exhibition has a separate game zone and a food zone, which was specially organized by the students of the department. The inaugural ceremony of this two-day program was held on September 26, 2023 in the presence of Mr. M. C. Desai, Secretary of Vanita Vishram, Surat and Dr. Daxesh Thakar, Provost.
The whole exhibition was done under the guidance and support of Dr. Daxesh Thakar and with the coordination of Dr. Vinita Mod (Dean, Faculty of Vocational Studies) and Mrs. Ruchika Aggarwal and Dr. Rajul Gandhi (Assistant Professors, Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management).
