The Impetus – The Prize Distribution Ceremony 2022-23 (Sports–NCC-NSS–Cultural) was organized on August 28, 2023, Monday at 12:15 p.m. in the Shiv Gauri Hall.
The event commenced with ceremonial lamp lightening ceremony.
Chief Guest Shri. Kriplani T. Desai, Chairman Vanita Vishram, Surat, Guests of Honour Shri. Pravin T. Vora, Vice-Chairman, Vanita Vishram, Surat and Shri. Manhar C. Desai, Secretary, Vanita Vishram, Surat graced the event.
Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar delivered an inspiring welcome address.
Committee report was also presented which highlighted on various activities and programmes undertaken by different committees during the academic year 2022-23.
Over 350 certificates, tropies and medals along with Sports Scholarships amounting to INR 1,24,600 were distributed to the achievers in the spectrum of Sports, NCC Civil Defense, NSS and Culture.
Student’s Academic Council of the academic year 2022-23 was also felicitated.
The programme turned out to be a grand success and an appropriate platform to acknowledge the dedication, hardwork and skills of young achievers.
The program was meticulously planned and executed under the able guidance of Dr. Daxesh Thakar and coordinated by the Sports, NCC, NSS, and Cultural Committees of VVWU.
