The Department of Management Studies, Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management, Vanita Vishram Women’s University (VVWU), Surat, successfully organized an Academic Guest Lecture on “Future of HR Work” on Friday, 14th August 2026, from 12:00 noon to 02:00 p.m. at Classroom No. 203, A Building, Vanita Vishram, Surat.
The session featured Dr. Tejal Patel, Associate Professor, P. P. Savani University as the distinguished resource person. The lecture focused on the evolving role of Human Resource Management in the changing business environment and provided students with valuable insights into emerging HR practices, technologies, skills, and future workplace trends.
During the session, students actively participated in discussions and interactive activities. The resource person highlighted the changing expectations from HR professionals, the increasing role of technology and Artificial Intelligence in HR, the importance of employee engagement and well-being, and the need for HR professionals to develop future-ready skills.
The session was highly interactive, informative, and enriching, with enthusiastic participation from nearly 100 students. The lecture provided students with practical insights and enhanced their understanding of the emerging trends and challenges shaping the future of HR.
The programme was planned under the guidance of Hon’ble Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar, Registrar Dr. R. D. Patel, Dean – Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal, and HoD of Management Studies Dr. Bosky Suratwala.
The event was effectively coordinated by Dr. Shanu Desai and Dr. Bhavna Patel, whose efforts contributed to the successful execution of the academic guest lecture.
