The Department of Commerce, VVWU successfully organized an “Industrial visit” to production unit of Manilal Stores  for M.Com Part 1 and Part 2 students on 16th September 2023 as a part of practical training in the subject of Small Business Management.

Mr. Anish Aadhiya and his team explained about the whole process of production of garments from yarn to finished goods stage.
They gave exposure to their machinery, inventory, human resource and communication methodology and quality management techniques.

Students learnt about managing employees, suppliers, finances and operations of the business.

Total 19 students were benefited by this visit.

The session was well coordinated by Dr. Nanda Bothra, HoD- Commerce and Ms. Lekhini Agrawal Teaching Assistant-Commerce.

The visit was planned with support and motivation of Honb’le Provost Sir Dr. Daxesh Thakar under the guidance of Dr. Abhilasha Agrawal –  Dean – Faculty of Commerce & Management and Dr. Nanda Bothra – HoD of Commerce, SCBM.
