World Tourism Day Celebration

World Tourism Day: 27/9/2022

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, School of Vocational Studies, VVWU had an MOU signing ceremony with GTTP (Global Travel and Tourism Partnership) in the presence of Dr. Dakshesh Thakar (Provost of Vanita Vishram Women’s University) and Dr. Sanjay Mehta (Founder, Owner and Principal of Countryside International School and Director India- Global Travel and Tourism Partnership).

The department also organized some exciting competitions such as photography, poster making, Just-a-minute on 26th of September and quiz competition and treasure hunt on 27th of September, 2022.  There were 198 registrations for these competitions in total. Just- A- Minute competition was judged by Dr. Sapna Desai (HOD of Department of English, School of Humanities and Social Science, VVWU) and photography competition was judged by Mr. Vijay Radadia (Training and Placement officer, VVWU.

The poster making competition was judged by I/C Dean of School of Vocational Studies, VVWU, Dr. Vinita Mod along with Mrs Ruchika Agarwal and Dr. Rajul Gandhi (Assistant Professors of Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, VVWU). Dr. Dakshesh Thakar (The Honorary Provost, VVWU) motivated the winners of the competitions by giving medals and trophies.  The event was coordinated by Dr. Vinita Mod.
