A Seminar on “Cyber Safe: Combating Ragging and Sexual Harassment in Digital Age

The Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee of Vanita Vishram Women’s University successfully organized a seminar on ”Cyber Safe: Combating Ragging and Sexual Harassment in the Digital Age”* on March 5, 2025. The session featured Dr. Snehal Vakilna, an internationalcyber lawyer, as the resource person .

The seminar was attended by over 250 students from various faculties of VVWU, who gained valuable insights into the importance of cyber security in preventing ragging and sexual harassment. Dr. Vakilna provided expert guidance on digital safety, legal implications, and protective measures to combat online threats effectively.

The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal, Chairperson of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee, Dr. Ruchika Agarwal, Convener of the Anti-Ragging Committee, and the entire Team of both the Committees, under the guidance of Dr. Daxesh Thakar, Provost, VVWU. Their dedicated efforts ensured a well-organized and impactful session for all attendees.
