The Department of Commerce, Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management, VVWU, Surat, successfully organized an Educational visit to HDFC Bank WBO Branch, Swastik Universal B Building, 12th floor, D Wing near Valentine Theatre, Surat-Dumas Road on the 11th and 12th March 2025 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for T.Y. B.Com. Banking and M.Com. students. This visit aimed to provide students with hands-on experience and insight into the daily operations of a bank, fostering a deeper understanding of its role in the financial sector.
65 Students visited the bank and got the opportunity to engage with bank staff, learn about various banking services, and explore wholesale banking’s unique structure. The visit proved to be an enriching experience, enhancing their theoretical knowledge with practical exposure.
The program was organized under the guidance and support of our Hon’ble Provost, Dr. Daxesh Thakar and Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal and Head of Department of Commerce, Dr. Nanda Bothra.
The event was well-coordinated by Ms. Nikita Keshan, Department of Commerce whose meticulous planning ensured smooth execution.
