The Department of Management Studies, Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management, organized An Awareness Session on SWAYAM Courses on 1ˢᵗ and 2ⁿᵈ January, 2026 for students of Department of Maangement Studies, with the objective of familiarizing them with the Government of India’s SWAYAM platform and its role in enhancing academic and professional learning.
The session aimed to create awareness about online certification courses offered through SWAYAM, their academic relevance, credit transfer mechanism, and the benefits of integrating these courses into the regular curriculum. The programme encouraged students to take advantage of digital learning opportunities for skill enhancement and lifelong learning.
The session was conducted by our esteemed resource person, Dr. Navnit Chothani , SWAYAM Nodal Officer, VVWU, I/C Assistant Registrar, VVWU, and Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, VVWU. Dr. Chothani provided detailed insights into the structure of SWAYAM courses, enrollment procedures, examination patterns, and the significance of SWAYAM certifications in higher education and career development. The sessions were interactive and informative, enabling students to clarify their queries and understand the practical aspects of course registration and completion.
The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. Daxesh Thakar , Honourable Provost, VVWU, and Dr. R. D. Patel , Registrar, VVWU. It was executed with the dedicated support of Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal , Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, and Dr. Bosky Suratwala , Head, Department of Management Studies.
The sessions were coordinated by Dr. Bosky Suratwala , Head, Department of Management studies and Dr. Foram Modi , Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies ensuring effective awareness and active student participation.
