The Department of Management Studies, Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management (JDSCM), Vanita Vishram Women’s University, successfully organized an expert session on the topic “Customer-Driven Marketing” on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
The session featured Mr. Siddharth Kriplani Desai, an experienced industry professional, as the distinguished resource person. The session aimed to provide students with practical insights into the importance of adopting a customer-centric approach in modern marketing practices.
During the session, the speaker discussed key aspects of customer-driven marketing, including understanding customer needs and expectations, creating customer value, customer experience management, personalization strategies, and the role of data and technology in shaping marketing decisions. Real-life industry examples were shared to help students connect theoretical concepts with practical business scenarios. The session proved to be highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and activities.
The session was attended by 146 students from S.Y.B.B.A., T.Y.B.B.A. and S.Y.M.B.A (Marketing). programmes, who found the discussion insightful and relevant to contemporary marketing practices.
The event was meticulously planned under the guidance of Dr. Daxesh Thakar, Hon’ble Provost, and Dr. R. D. Patel, Registrar, VVWU.
It was executed with the dedicated support of Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal, Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, and Dr. Bosky Suratwal, Head, Department of Management Studies. The session was effectively coordinated by Dr. Ashwin Santoki and Ms. Srishti Pandey, ensuring its academic relevance and smooth execution.
