Inaugural Ceremony of Classes for Competitive Examinations

The Training and Placement cell of Vanita Vishram women’s University organized the inaugural ceremony of coaching classes for the preparation of Bank and GPSC exams under the Competitive Examination Training Assistance Scheme in collaboration with Employment Office, Surat (Government of Gujarat) and Banking Academy on 12/12/2025 at Marfatia Hall.

Honorable Shri R.D. Baldaniya, District Deputy Director—Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Shri Bipinbhai Mangukiya, District Career Counsellor—Employment Office, Surat, Shri Chetan Bhimani, Director of Banking Academy and Shri Dinesh Patel, Project Head of Banking Academy were present. Our honorable, Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar welcomed the guests and gave a motivational message to the students by praising the program.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide high quality guidance, preparation and academic support to OBC and economically backward class students for competitive examinations. Training for important examinations like Bank (IBPS, SBI, RBI, Clerk, PO) and GPSC (Class 1, 2, 3) will be provided by the Banking Academy at the university campus itself. In addition, all registered students will be provided with complete study material like exam-based books, practice sets, aptitude-reasoning guides, previous years’ question papers and online learning support free of cost.Total 99 students of OBC will get the benefits of this scheme.

The program was conducted by Ms. Foram Dharsandiya, Training & Placement Officer, faculty coordinators of T & P Cell Ms. Shruti Prajapati and Ms. Aashi Parikh.
