The Departments of Commerce and Accountancy successfully organized a One-day workshop on “Fundamentals of Data Analysis through Jamovi” on Monday, February 23, 2026, with the active participation of 82 students. The workshop aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of data analysis and enhance their practical skills using Jamovi software.
The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Shital S. Patel, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, VNSGU, who shared her expertise and provided valuable insights into statistical analysis.
During the session, Dr. Shital Patel covered important topics including data coding, data transformation, descriptive statistics, checking the normality of data, and the application of parametric and non-parametric tests.
The workshop was highly interactive and practical-oriented, enabling students to gain hands-on experience and a clear understanding of statistical tools and techniques. The program concluded successfully with an engaging discussion, making the workshop informative and beneficial for all participants.
Registrar Dr. R.D.Patel graced the session with his esteemed presence and distributed certificate to the students.
