Department of Computer Science, School of Science and Technology, Vanita Vishram Women’s University, Surat organized an Orientation programme – Aarambh 2025 – for the students of FY M.Sc. (IT) PG. It began with a prayer, setting a positive vibe of a new beginning. The new batch of PG students were welcomed by their seniors.
The event was marked by orienting students about the curriculum, familiarize them with the department and all the faculties. The event was also filled with exciting games making it more interactive for the students.
Dr. Nirali Dave (Dean – Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology) highlighted the importance of developing strong technical skills and staying updated with emerging technologies, encouraging students to take charge of shaping their own career.
Dr. Hemangini Patel Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, VVWU motivated the students for beginning a new journey of their life.
Around 35+ students from FY M. Sc. IT and 35+ from SY M.Sc. IT were present.
The event was smoothly managed by Batch Coordinator Ms. Harsha Khurana.
The consistent support of Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar and Registrar Dr. R.D. Patel played a key role in making the program a success.
