Academic Guest Lecture on KYC and Money Laundering

The Department of Commerce, Jyoti Dalal School of Commerce and Management, VVWU, Surat, successfully organized an Academic Guest Lecture by Dr. Jatin Naik Sir on KYC and Money Laundering in Room No. 407, Commerce Building, VVWU, Athwagate, Surat on the 10th March 2025 from 08:30 am to 09:30 am for T.Y. B.Com Banking students. This visit aimed to equip students with insights into KYC regulations, its role in financial institutions, and anti-money laundering measures, enhancing their understanding of banking and compliance.

Approx. 100 Students attended the session and got the benefit to understand the concept. The session proved to be an enriching and enhancing their knowledge.

The program was organized under the guidance and support of our Hon’ble Provost, Dr. Daxesh Thakar and Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal and Head of Department of Commerce, Dr. Nanda Bothra.

The event was well-coordinated by Ms. Nikita Keshan, Department of Commerce whose meticulous planning ensured smooth execution.
