The Training & Placement Cell and the Department of Psychology at Vanita Vishram Women’s University, Surat jointly organized an expert talk on “NEP 2020 Awareness: Expert Talks and Sensitization” on Friday, 26th July 2025 at the Conference Hall, Main Office, Vanita Vishram, Surat.
The primary objective of this session was to sensitize students and coordinators about the key highlights of the National Education Policy 2020 and its implications in the current academic landscape. The talk aimed to bridge the gap between policy frameworks and practical implementation at the institutional level.
The expert speaker for the session was Dr. Gaurav Shah, Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology and NEP Nodal officer, VNSGU,Surat. He provided insightful perspectives on curriculum restructuring, multidisciplinary learning, and the role of educators and learners in NEP implementation.
The event was attended by around 85 participants, including Student Council Members, Training & Placement Head Coordinators, NEP Saarthis,NCC & NSS student coordinator.
The program was conducted under the guidance and support of our Hon’ble Provost, Dr. Daxesh Thakar,our registrar Dr.R.D.Patel & Dr. Navnit Chothani, I/c Assistant Registrar VVWU.
