Department of Commerce, VVWU facilitated a Seminar on “Millet Awareness” for F.Y. B.Com students on 25th August 2023.
Dr. Payal Jain – Assistant Professor, from School of Science and Technology along with the team of her students discussed about importance of gluten free diet and benefits of consuming millets. They also explained and showcased samples of different types of millets. Further a mutual pledge was taken by students for consuming millets on a daily basis.
In total 67 students were benefitted by the session.
The session was well coordinated by Dr. Nanda Bothra – H.o.D Commerce and Ms. Krina Vankawala (Teaching Assistant in Accountancy). It was organised under the guidance of Hon’ble Provost Sir Dr. Daxesh Thakar and Hon’ble Dean Ma’am Dr. Abhilasha Agarwal- Faculty of Commerce and Management.
