सेवा : Students Services Centre, मन : Psychological Counselling Cell and the Department of Psychology, Vanita Vishram Women’s University successfully organized a Sensitization Seminar on Suicide Prevention by Dr. Urvish Jaganiya, Psychiatrist, Nivaan Clinic on 12th September 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Shiv Gauri Hall, VVWU.
The seminar’s primary goal was to raise awareness in students about mental health and the warning signs of suicidal behavior.
250 students attended the session to understand warning signs of sucide and possible approaches to it.
The seminar commenced and ended with a Q & A session allowing students to ask questions and address their concerns in a safe and supportive environment.
The Sensitization Seminar was conducted under the able guidance of our Honourable Provost, Dr. Daxesh Thakar.
The event was coordinated by the committee members under the supervision of Dr. Aditya Farsole, Chairperson, सेवा: Students Services Centre & मन: Psychological Counselling Cell, Head, Department of Psychology.
