on 21st August, 2023, Dr. Vijay Radadiya (T&P Officer, VVWU) conducted an expert session on
‘Resume Building’ for the third year students of School of Vocational Studies. He enlightened them about
the do’s and don’ts of resume writing and also showed them sample resumes and the correct way to write
it.
Outcome:
– the students became aware of the correct way to write an impactful resume
– they cleared their doubts regarding resume writing
– they got to know about the different applications that may help in resume writing
Scope:
The first impression that the students can create on their prospective employer is through their
impactful resume. Since the third year students will soon be building their professional careers in the
outside world, this session will be very beneficial for them so that they do not make resume mistakes and
can crack an interview in their first dream job.
The students will also get an opportunity to get their resumes screened by experts and get their
suggestions to develop an effective resume.
