Students of CS & IT Shine at National and International Level

Team FOURmula One from Vanita Vishram Women’s University has been selected as a Global Nominee in the prestigious NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2025, placing their innovation among the top projects worldwide.

The team—SY B. Sc. IT students Hir Goti, Sumaiya Haveliwala, Heni Ahir, and Trisha Hingu—mentored by faculty member Ms. Harsha Khurana, excelled in NASA’s “Build a Space Biology Knowledge Engine” challenge by developing an advanced AI-powered web platform that transforms complex space biology data into accessible insights.

AI/ML Internship at INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar A group of TY B. Sc. IT students – Solanki Sneha Arvindkumar, Katlariwala Krishna Manojkumar, Pandey Ankita Amrendra, Sharma Mandavi Shashi Bhushan successfully completed a one-month intensive internship at the prestigious INFLIBNET (Information and Library Network) Centre, Gandhinagar, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning project development. During this internship, the students worked on practical AI/ML applications, gaining hands-on experience in dataset handling, model building, and implementation techniques.

Also TY B. Sc. IT students Mitwa Kakadiya, Pragati Bhagvager, Krisha Bhagat are appointed as an intern at ISRO–Space Applications Centre (SAC), New Bopal Campus, Ahmedabad. This internship has provided with hands-on exposure to real-time data workflows, industry-grade code practices, and large-scale system development within a premier space research organization.
