Visit to SUMUL Dairy

The Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, School of Science and Technology organized a SUMUL Dairy visit for the students of B.Sc. Microbiology and Biotechnology Semester-4 on 31st December, 2024.

A total of 70 students participated in the visit. Students got knowledge regarding the dairy industry and visited each plant of making and processing of ghee, butter, Milk etc. A good interactive session with the elaborator was held by students explaining History and various plant establishments of SUMUL.

The visit was organized under the guidance of our Hon’ble Provost, Dr. Daxesh Thakar, Registrar, Dr. R.D. Patel, Dean of Faculty of Science, School of Science Dr. Manisha Vyas, and HoD of Microbiology, Dr. Pinakin Dhandhukia.
It was well-coordinated by Ms. Aishwarya Desai, Teaching Assistant and Ms. Ishita Masalawala, Teaching Assistant, Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, School of Science and Technology.
