A workshop on Beginning a Career in Industry: Challenges, Do’s and Don’ts was organized by the Department of Chemistry on 11/8/2023 wherein around 80 students from Chemistry, Microbiology, Food and Nutrition Departments completed 3 hrs training in the workshop.
The Resource Person & MoU Partner Mr. Ashok Modi who is a Founder of Modi of GMP Services briefed the students about various positions available for freshers in Industries and explained about related skills. He also provided a brief idea to tackle tricky questions that may appear during the interview. The event was informative, interactive and enriching for the Students.
The event turned out to be triumphantly successful and garnered great feedback and compliments from everyone!
The event was planned under the active MoU with the support and motivation of Hon’ble Provost Dr. Daxesh Thakar Sir under the guidance of Dean, Faculty of Sciences Dr. Manisha Vyas, Training and Placement officer Dr. Vijay Radadiya and Head of Chemistry Department Dr. Suchitra Savant.
The event was elevated by the unforeseen presence of Secretary of Vanita Vishram Shri Manhar C. Desai. The Workshop was coordinated by Dr. Shital Modi and Dr. Maryam Bagia.
