Workshop on “Trauma Informed Care”

Department of Psychology, VVVU organized a “Two-day Sensitisation Workshop on Trauma Informed care” for Masters in Clinical Psychology students on 23 and 24 August, 2023.

Ms. Siddhi Malani (Counselling Psychologist) was the resource person for the workshop. It aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed care principles and practices, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals who have experienced trauma.

55 Students of M.A. Clinical Psychology participated in this workshop.

The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Hon’ble Provost Sir and Dean of SOHASS, Dr. Daxesh Thakar, and Dr. Aditya Farsole – H.o.D Department of Psychology. It was coordinated by Ms. Mahek Agrawal.
