Sensitization Seminar on Suicide Prevention

The Department of Psychology, VVWU organized a “SENSITIZATION SEMINAR ON SUICIDE PREVENTION” in association with Dr. Urvish Jaganiya, Nivaan Clinic (MoU Partner) for students of SOHASS on 8th September 2023.

The seminar was conducted by Dr. Urvish Jaganiya, a prominent Psychiatrist, who brought his expertise and insights into the field of mental health to the seminar. His extensive knowledge and experience added immense value to the event.

The seminar witnessed active participation from a total of 281 students from various disciplines within SOHASS.

The session was well coordinated by Ms. Kamya Vyas (Teaching Assistant in Department of Psychology)

The event was planned with support and motivation of Honb’le Provost Sir Dr. Daxesh Thakar by Dr. Sapna Desai – Coordinator of SOHASS & Dr. Aditya Farsole – Head, Department of Psychology, SOHASS.
